Telehealth (also called “Telerehabilitation” or “Online Physiotherapy”) is the delivery of healthcare services at a distance using telecommunications technology. This allows you to connect with a physiotherapist using telephone, video, or remote monitoring technology to receive services at a distance when in person session is not applicable or possible.

This means your physical therapist will interview, examine, provide a treatment plan of care, follow up and provide you with advice and instructions using any of the modalities referred above.

We can treat musculoskeletal and neurological injuries with video visits. However, if we identify that your condition is not suitable for online treatment, we would refer you to other providers and refund you the cost of the session.

All physiotherapists are skilled professionals in human movement and play a significant role in injury treatment. With extensive education and in-depth knowledge, we are trained to go through a systematic process of examination. It all starts with listening to a client. By the end of taking history, most of them already have strong suspicions on what is troubling you. With further observation and a series of test, we confirm the diagnosis. In most cases, this process does not require any hands-on approach.

There have been research studies that shows that hands off approach is just as effective. With our goal of providing you with active therapy, we wish to put you in charge of your health and give you power to self-manage. Online physiotherapy serves this aspect well by empowering you to complete exercise videos, understand education materials and having access to physiotherapist every step along the way.
