What If You Wait?

If you’re living with pain, stiffness, or an old injury, it’s easy to put off getting help especially when life is busy. But waiting can make things worse.

Not treating pain early can lead to:

  • Ongoing discomfort that affects your mood and sleep

  • Loss of strength and flexibility

  • Trouble doing everyday things, from walking the dog to playing with your kids

  • Longer recovery times down the road

You don’t have to just “live with it.” The sooner you start, the sooner you’ll feel like yourself again.

When To Choose Online Physiotherapy?

Online Physiotherapy Works Great For:

Your Busy Life - Perfect when you're juggling work, kids, or other commitments. Get high quality care from your living room, office, or even while traveling. No traffic, no rearranging your day.

Common Injuries - Ideal for tendonitis, sprains, strains, plantar fasciitis, and overuse injuries. Also great for follow-up visits when you're already familiar with your exercises.

Post-Surgery Recovery - Helpful for exercise guidance and movement coaching during recovery, especially when you're ready to move but need direction from home.

Rural or Hard-to-Reach Areas - Perfect if you live outside the city, have mobility challenges, or want to avoid exposure to illness during recovery.

In-Person Care is Better For:

New or Complex Issues - When you need hands-on assessment to figure out exactly what's going on. Physical examination and testing work best face-to-face.

Hands-On Treatment - Some conditions need manual therapy like joint work, soft tissue treatment, or therapeutic techniques that require skilled hands.

Right After Surgery - Fresh post-op care may need hands-on treatment, specialized equipment, and close monitoring.

High-Level Athletes - Returning to sports or need advanced equipment, plyometric training, or specialized strength work. You'll benefit from a fully equipped clinic.

Need Extra Support - If you're new to exercise or need someone physically present to coach and motivate you, in-person care works better.

The Best of Both Worlds

Many patients get the most benefit from combining both options; starting with an in-person visit for assessment, then transitioning to online for convenience and follow-up care. Most extended health plans in BC cover both, so you can choose what works best for your situation and goals.

Whether you choose online convenience or in-person care, I'm here to help you move better and feel better.
